What is A2P 10DLC, do I need it for my SMS marketing in the USA?
YES for 10 digit phone numbers that you market from and NO to shortcode phone numbers of 5 or 6 digits.
Let's define A2P (Application to Phone) which means if you are sending SMS from software to cell phones.
The 10DLC (10 digit long codes) are full phone numbers.
If you use a Shortcode with Texthub then you will not have to register under the A2P 10DLC program.
To register we provide all the tools inside our software to do the registration, the process is quick and painless.
